Oyerepa TV’s Help Me Change funds medical treatment for visually impaired siblings

Oyerepa TV’s humanitarian programme, Help Me Change, has supported Afia with medical treatment and a corrective lens, enabling her to start school despite her visual impairment.

The intervention forms part of the programme’s efforts to support vulnerable individuals and families facing health-related challenges and improve their quality of life.

Afia’s case highlights how timely medical care and appropriate interventions can make a significant difference in the lives of children living with visual impairments, particularly by improving their access to education and other opportunities.

Through the support of Help Me Change, Afia received medical treatment and a lens to address her vision difficulties. The intervention has helped her take an important step towards education and a brighter future.

However, the programme’s intervention for Kofi, who also lives with visual impairment, presented a different outcome, as his condition was found to be beyond medical treatment.
