Trasacco Group of companies, operators of Accra-Tema motorway spring developments, has condemned the unlawful demolition of its fence walls by an unidentified group. The company confirms calm has returned following unlawful demolitions of properties and fence walls belonging to Trasacco and its clients.
According to them, the Ghana Police Service has identified suspects, issued invitations for questioning, and is pursuing those who fled. Trasacco strongly condemns these criminal acts and is cooperating fully with authorities for justice.
The company alleged the group claims they were sent by the Chief Imam and government. However, the Office of the National Chief Imam confirmed no authorization was given for claims involving His Eminence. Trasacco also contacted the Presidency regarding alleged military involvement and awaits response.
Speaking at a press conference, Kwame Owusu Danso, Esq., Corporate Affairs and Legal Director, Trasacco Group explained that Trasacco lawfully acquired 270.1 acres for Tema Springs from Tema Development Corporation (TDC) in 2004, with a lease formalized November 29, 2012.
Over a decade, Trasacco developed the land for peaceful client occupation; essential facilities like the school remain accessible. Trasacco reassures investors and homeowners of protecting their interests and delivering quality serviced plots. Stakeholders are urged to remain calm, trusting the rule of law for swift resolution.
Trasacco Estates Development Company Limited is a prominent Ghanaian property developer with a strong track record, operating under the Trasacco Group founded over 50 years ago. They are therefore calling on the public and clients to disregard any claims and continue working with the company.
