The third edition of the Ghana Power and Energy Expo has commenced, featuring a larger and improved format. The event aims to promote sustainable energy and innovation, foster partnerships and investments, and support Ghana’s energy independence and economic diversification goals.
H.E. Shri Manish Gupta, High Commissioner of India to Ghana says India, the third-largest producer of renewable energy, has installed a generation capacity of 200 gigawatts, meeting its Paris Agreement commitments.
Stressing that this achievement demonstrates the potential for collaborative partnerships between India and Ghana in the renewable energy sector.
To him, Ghana Power and Energy Expo 2024 provides an opportunity for B2B and B2C linkages, moving beyond transactional relationships to forge collaborative partnerships.
He added that the presence of Indian industry leaders across the entire value chain is expected to facilitate knowledge-sharing and investment opportunities.

According to her, the initiative is to boost the country’s energy sector through sustainable and renewable energy sources, aiming to generate cleaner energy and support Ghana’s global climate commitments.
