The alumnus of Kumasi Academy from the year 1973 has generously donated 30 straight bulbs to the school.
This act of kindness was carried out in celebration of their 50th anniversary since leaving Kumasi Academy.
The esteemed headmaster, Kwame Samuel Gato, graciously accepted the donation on behalf of the school and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the former student.
“We will thank the group from 1973 that came to donate these street lights for us to fix all the dark places here. This will help the students stay on campus without fear. “The headmaster said in an interview with Oyerepa News.
He does, however, commend Akunni Global, an old student group that built a modern science lab for the school.
Okunyini Kwabena Dapaah Siakwan, president of Akunni Global, also urged Ghanaians to support the school where they were trained.
“Past students are major stakeholders in every school, and they contribute significantly to the development of the school. I will urge all old students to endeavor to assist their school.”
