The National Youth Organizer of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Osei Kofi Aquah has made a startling revelation, asserting that Vice President Dr. Bawumia is the most qualified among the ten candidates vying for the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearership position.
During a panel discussion on the Oyerepa Breakfast Show with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Monday, the National Youth Organizer elaborated on his viewpoint.
He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s current role as Vice President of Ghana sets him apart from the other nine candidates aspiring for the flagbearership position.
“Bawumia is far ahead of all the aspirants. I’m saying this based on the position you occupy and what you have been able to achieve so far in President Akuffo Addo’s government” he stated.
He added that Alan Kyeremanteng has been a “disaster” in his capacity as trade minister in Ghana.
“Alan Kyeremanteng is not part of the first five candidates, he has been a disaster at the trade ministry since,” he added.
Listing his top 5 candidates tipped to win the Flagsbearership position of the NPP he excluded, Alan Kyeremanteng declaring he does not fit to lead the NPP.
