Dr. Anthony Nsia Asare, the esteemed Presidential Advisor on Health, is calling upon the dedicated members of the New Patriotic Party to assume the crucial responsibility of championing the remarkable achievements of the Akufo-Addo administration.
Dr. Asare firmly believes that by actively promoting these accomplishments, the party will significantly enhance its chances of securing victory in the upcoming 2024 polls.
“It’s the party that is important; we’re going into the elections base on what the government is doing now. So I want people when they are talking to promote what this government is doing.” He made these remarks on Oyerepa Breakfast Show, Monday.
According to him, the party has undertaken numerous noteworthy projects. He firmly believes that if the NPP communicators effectively promote the achievements of the Nana Addo-led government, winning the upcoming election would be a breeze.
“Party folks must speak about the various projects we’ve done. We must project what this government has done for all people to understand in order to break the eight.” He said.
When discussing the NPP’s flagbearer position, Dr. Anthony Nsia Asare expressed his opinion that although he has a preferred candidate, all the aspirants are capable of leading the party into the upcoming presidential elections in 2024. Nevertheless, it is crucial for the NPP delegates to choose a candidate who possesses the necessary competence to secure victory in the 2024 elections and break the eight-year cycle.
“I believe that all the candidates in NPP are good and I believe that we’re not just going to look for somebody who will be just a flagbearer. We want somebody who will win us the presidential elections. We have to break the eight.
He added that “We’ll do anything strategically to break the eight. However, we’ll give our support to anyone who will win.
