Ahead of the Assin North By-election on 27th June, the Ghana Police Service is allegedly organising health screening for electorates within the constituency.
According to reports, more than 800 policemen are currently in the Assin North constituency to maintain peace and order in the impending by-elections.
However, in a video available to Oyerepa Online, which is trending on social media, Ghana police is organizing health screening for the constituents.
In the video, the police officers led by a supposed female police commander (name unknown) and her men are interacting with the voters telling them to partake in the exercise.

Well, one does not understand why the police are embarking on the exercise but a section of people on social media believe that the police are doing the exercise in order for the constituents to see their presence.
Some also have asked why a similar exercise was not done in Kumawu By-election. They have argued that, is an orchestrated attempt by which the NPP wants to use the police to lure the electorates to vote for them.
