The Member of Parliament for Sene West, Hon. Kwame Ampofo Twumasi, has appealed to the NDC delegates to retain him in the upcoming parliamentary primaries to enable him to help the constituency much better than before since his instinct tells him that his party will come to power.
According to him, he has been the sole sponsor of the party at the constituency level since he became an MP, even in opposition.
He admitted that there is wrongdoing on the part of mankind; therefore, those who voted against the National Democratic Congress in the 2020 general election have reflected on their mistakes and changed their minds to bring the party to power in 2024.
He said he has helped and solved individual problems in the constituency.
Kwame Ampofo called on the delegates to beware of the tricks of his opponents since they didn’t know them.
“It is better to vote for somebody you know than the one you don’t know, because whether morning, evening, or night, I answer or return everyone’s call; I have always had time for everyone, and I know you will vote for me again,” he stressed.
“When you vote for me again, I will be able to do more for you. I have assisted and facilitated some of the youth joining the security services. After all this, when we come to power, I will be able to do more,” he said.
The MP further appealed to the delegates, saying that once they come to power, they will be able to complete the abandoned road because recently, the former president, John Dramani Mahama, promised to complete it when he visited the constituency.
