Dr Samiu Kwadwo Nuamah, former Member of Parliament for Kwadaso Constituency, has voiced his disgruntlement with what he calls the “Mafia” in the game of politics within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which he thinks is suffocating the party’s accomplishment.
According to the former MP, the mafia, within the party, is not only targeting individuals but is progressively annihilating the political party as a whole.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Show Monday, the former legislator identified some NPP faithful operations that are ruining the party.
He clarified that most MPs are no longer in power because certain people have established themselves as kingmakers, deciding who wins and who loses elections.
“The mafia is not only affecting the targeted individual only but greatly destroying the party at large,” he said.
He did, however, call on the NPP’s power structure to take steps to address the party’s deteriorating situation.
