The National Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has ridiculed the Akufo-Addo-led NPP government over “we have the men” claims.
Prior to the 2021 elections, the then opposition party, the NPP, characterized the John Mahama-led NDC government as incompetent and claimed they had competent men to manage the country during their campaign.
But after 6 years of NPP government, Ghana’s economy is in crisis, which has compelled the government to seek an IMF bailout.
Addressing NDC members at the party’s congress, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo described officials of the NPP government as “barbars.”
“Little did voters know that they had voted for barbers.” When they stated that they had men, we never knew they were barbers. “They cannot even barber their own President Akufo-Addo properly, leaving him with a sakora head,” .
