Dr Anthony Nsiah Asare, Presidential advisor on health has made a clarion call on the media to help fight the activities of galamsey.
The Presidential advisor has urged journalists to help the President in the fight against the activities of galamsey saying that journalists should be bold enough to name all those involved in the act.
In his engagement with Oyerepa Breakfast Show, he lamented the fact that the media is recognized as the fourth estate of government and therefore must gather the courage and name and shame all those involved in Galamsey activities.
“I have not seen any government appointee involved in Galamsey and I have not seen one yet,” he stated.
“The hypocrisy is too much” he added
Notwithstanding, he believes that the President is committed to eradicating galamsey from the country.
“We are here to eradicate galamsey and surely, it would be eradicated,” the President said.
