Former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Otiko Afisa Djaba has denied reports making rounds on various social media platforms that she has thrown her support for the incumbent National Women’s Organizer for the NPP who is seeking another term in office, Madam Kate Gyamfua.
According to the former National Women’s Organizer for the Ruling New Patriotic Party, she has learned that it is one Samuel Oduro who is impersonating her to peddle such lies.
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Show to clear her name, Ms Djaba called on God’s wrath to visit Samuel Oduro and his cronies for using her name to campaign for somebody she doesn’t want her to be voted for again.
“I heard that Samuel Oduro and his cronies are impersonating me to campaign for Kate Gyamfua. That Oduro guy is a very acrimonious character and a betrayal. I brought him to the ministry of Gender during my time in Office and he betrayed me in the end. God will deal with him ruthlessly for peddling lies against me. If he doesn’t stop using my name in the campaign, I will call for his arrest “ She fumed.
Meanwhile, Madam Afisa Otiko Djaba called for a change in the Women Organizer Position, saying the delegates should vote for somebody who can bring new ideas on board to help break the 8 they are campaigning for. According to her, the new person who can effect this new dawn in the women Organizer Position is Ellen Ama Deku.
“We need a change in the women organizer position. Change is necessary for victory, we need somebody who can talk and defend the party at all times and the change we need is Ellen Ama Deku “ She stated.
