The Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party, Lawyer Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, has divulged that the erstwhile Prez Kufuor’s government took over an economy which was in tatters, just as Prez Akufo – Addo.

Speaking with Wofa Atta Frimpong on Oyerepa Breakfast Show(O.B.S), the Honourable Member of Parliament for Adenta Constituency said that he was impressed with the enthusiasm with which people are participating in the new voter registration exercise.

The Honourable Member of Parliament for Adenta described the N. D. C’s reluctance to participating in the exercise, prior to its commencement, as Shameful. “Those who were unwilling to partake in the exercise earlier said a whole lot of contrary things about the new voter registration exercise, that it will never happen, are now ashamed, ” Lawyer Buabeng Asamoah derided.

He disclosed that the erstwhile Prez Kufuor’s administration was left with only bones, which was quite worrying and that Former Prez Kufuor had to put measures in place all through to International Monetary Fund (I. M. F.) to put sectors of the economy back on track.

The National Communication Director of the NPP stated that if it were to be the N. D. C. in power in the era of COVID-19 pandemic, they would have messed up with its control and management.

He burst, “If Ghanaians want the good of the country, they should vote well for the good to stay.”

Lawyer Yaw Buabeng Asamoah was confident of the NPP’s contribution to the Education sector, juxtaposed with that of the leading opposition party, making reference to how the then Former Prez Mahama-led administration paid only three months, out of three years teachers had worked relentlessly, which was acted on by his current running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku – Agyemang. He indicated how the Prez Nana Addo’s administration has restored allowances of teachers and nurses and employed about 350 unemployed nurses to various health facilities.

He disagreed with those who claim grounds are shaky. “Should things fall apart for such people who think grounds are shaky, they will get to realise Prez Nana Addo was assiduously paying up our debts and other stuff… Prez Nana Addo is investing Education through the Free SHS Policy, all derived from the monies realised from the Oil field, “
