The Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Women’s Organiser, Nana Ama Ampomah has expressed displeasure over how her main contender has refused to send her a congratulatory message after the polls.
As per, Ama Ampomah, her contender Beatrice Owusu has refused to congratulate her in all her 3 consecutive victories.
Recall that, Nana Ama Ampomah and Beatrice Owusu aka Aunty Bee have rocked shoulders 3 times for the NPP’s Women’s Organizer position in the Ashanti. All victories have gone on Ama Ampomah’s side. The most recent one was the just ended NPP Ashanti Regional Executive Elections.
Nana Ama Ampomah garnered 419 votes over her main contender Beatrice Owusu who had 344.
Expressing her displeasure over the issue on Oyerepa Breakfast Show, Ama Ampomah stated that, in all her victories, Aunty Bee has never bothered to call or send her a congratulatory message. The attitude she indicated is worrying.
“I’ve got this concern; Aunty Bee has never congratulated me in any of my victories…” The Ashanti Regional NPP Women’s Organizer stated.
She however pledged to unite all NPP supporters to campaign vigorously to break the eight.
