A Ghanaian politician, Percival Kofi Akpaloo, leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana, LPG, has called on the government of Ghana to create an avenue to release citizens off their burdens.
Kofi Akpaloo says, it is the fundamental human right of every citizen of Ghana to live a better life without constraints.
Speaking to Bismarck Brown on Oyerepa Braekfast Time, Monday 14th March, 2022, the LPG leader indicated that, it is the responsibility of government to create avenues for people to get jobs.
He said, the 1992 constitution of the country clearly states that, the government must create avenues for Ghanaians to live well. For this reason, it must put money in the pockets of the unemployed to feed themselves and live better lives.
“Government is responsible to put money in the pockets of the unemployed Ghanaians to buy food for a better living. That is their fundamental human right. The 1992 constitution stipulates that all people must live well.” He said.
He added that, the only solution to the high unemployment rate in the country is for the state to promote entrepreneurship.
Kofi Akpaloo declared that, the government of Ghana must give its citizens income support to start their own businesses. He believes that, the more people create jobs, the lesser the unemployment rate becomes.
“Government must give its citizens income support to create businesses. That’s why they pay taxes ..Kofi Akpaloo entreated.
The LGG founder and leader stated again that, education is the country’s backbone therefore the government must help people to pursue higher education. It must encourage the youth to enter into vocational training.
