Dr. Hassan Ayariga, founder and leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), has made a clarion call to all smaller political parties to join forces with the APC to win the 2024 elections.
He also urged independent candidates to unite and challenge the long-standing dominance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ghana’s upcoming polls.
Speaking at the unveiling of the APC’s vice-presidential running mate at the Teachers Hall in Accra, Dr. Ayariga revealed that his party has received interest from three different movements to form an alliance with the APC this year. He believes this unity will bolster their campaign and secure a decisive victory.
Dr. Ayariga emphasized the need for a shared vision, unified leadership, cohesive policy framework, and strong regional support to succeed. By joining forces, the alliance aims to provide a viable alternative to the traditional two-party system and bring about meaningful change in Ghana’s political landscape.
