Ghanaian singer and songwriter Joseph Nkrumah Buabeng, popularly known as Nero X, has exhorted young artists to turn to experienced musicians in their quest to advance their artistic craft.
Nero X expressed this after recently featuring Ghanaian Hiplife Legend Tinny on his latest single, “Medo Wiase”.
The “Osey” hitmaker claims to have been astounded by Tinny’s musical depth when they both recorded the “Medo Wiase” song and feels that Tinny deserves to be recognized as one of Ghana’s top rap artists.
“Working with Tinny was amazing and as for me, sincerely, I think he must be celebrated, and I have always looked up to him. We the young artists have a lot to learn from these legends if we want to improve our craft”, He stated.
The “Yawa dey” hitmaker added, “A lot of these veteran artists have a lot to give us, I believe most of them are not done yet and have lots to offer. We need to beg them for their guidance, and I believe Ghana music will thrive”.
When asked about his upcoming projects, the Hiplife musician revealed his intentions to put out an album dubbed “Two Phase”.
His newly released “Medo Wiase” song is off the ‘Phase Two’ album and can be streamed across various platforms.
Nero X is a Ghanaian Hiplife artiste, songwriter, performer and instrumentalist. He won the maiden edition of Viasat 1 TV’s Born Starz.
