Ghanaian fashion entrepreneur and celebrity stylist Richard Brown, popularly known as Osebo the Zaraman, has responded strongly to concerns raised by International God’s Way Church founder Bishop Daniel Obinim regarding his association with gospel musician Florence Obinim.

The controversy follows comments made by Bishop Obinim after a viral TikTok video showed Osebo dancing with Florence Obinim. The preacher reportedly described the interaction as inappropriate and disclosed that he had advised his wife to keep her distance from the fashion icon, including avoiding appearances with him in social media content.

Addressing the issue in a TikTok video, Osebo dismissed suggestions that there was anything romantic or disrespectful about his friendship with Florence Obinim. According to him, he would never consider becoming involved with a married woman because such behaviour goes against the values he was raised with.

“When your wife visits me, don’t be scared because it is a curse for me to sleep with a married woman. My mentor, Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, did not train me to behave in such a manner. It will never happen,” Osebo stated.

The outspoken stylist, known for his unconventional fashion sense and outspoken personality, also advised Bishop Obinim not to allow public opinion and online speculation to damage his marriage. He described Florence Obinim as a rare and loyal woman who continues to stand by her husband despite public scrutiny and repeated controversies surrounding their relationship.

“It is hard to find a wife who supports her husband even after infidelity claims. This is a wise lady. She will support and defend her husband in public. That is your wife for you,” he said.

Osebo further urged the preacher to appreciate and protect his marriage, warning that loyal partners are difficult to replace once lost. He stressed that Florence Obinim’s unwavering support should be valued rather than questioned.

“Hold on to her so she doesn’t slip away. The day your wife leaves you, you will struggle to find a true and better replacement. You would mourn, but it will be too late. Whatever has happened between you and your wife, make sure to make peace because your wife is a wise woman,” he added.

The remarks have since sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many users weighing in on the dynamics between the celebrity stylist, the gospel singer, and the controversial preacher. While some applauded Osebo for defending his integrity and encouraging reconciliation, others argued that Bishop Obinim’s concerns as a husband were understandable given the public nature of the viral video.
