Luis Suarez, the Uruguayan striker, has issued a strong caution to Ghana’s Black Stars ahead of their big game at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to Suarez, all Uruguayan players will risk their lives to defeat Ghana and, ideally, advance to the next round of the competition.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game on Friday, 2 December, the former Barcelona star stated that his country’s point total has made beating Ghana a must.
“We have one point and the final match against Ghana is do and die. We have no option than to win to make our fans happy,” Luis Suarez said.
Suarez added, “We are going to put our lives and soul into this last match. Ghana is a good team but we know them, we have beaten them before and we know how to beat them again.”
