The Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, has ordered the removal of all branded items of the former member of the party, Alan Kyerematen, from the all party offices.

This order follows after Alan Kyeremateng yesterday unexpectedly announced his departure from the ruling party, opting to run as an independent candidate in the forthcoming 2024 elections.
He made this pronouncement at a press conference held in Accra on Monday, September 25.
Meanwhile, the NPP has described Alan’s move as unfortunate and urges the party’s supporters to remain calm.
