A woman at Agona Nyakrom in the Central Region has reportedly suffered severe eye injuries after she was allegedly attacked by another woman over claims of having an affair with her husband.

The victim is currently undergoing medical treatment, with fears that she could permanently lose her sight due to the extent of the injuries sustained during the assault.

According to information gathered by Crime Check TV, the incident occurred after the suspect allegedly accused the victim of engaging in a romantic relationship with her husband.

Residents in the area said the misunderstanding later escalated into a violent confrontation.

Eyewitnesses alleged that the suspect targeted the victim’s face and eyes during the attack, leaving her in severe pain with critical injuries.

Concerned residents reportedly rushed the victim to a nearby health facility for emergency medical attention following the incident.
