Several passengers are battling for their lives in a head-on collision between a Sprinter bus and a Taxi cab on the Bibiani-Sefwi Wiawso Highway in the Western North Region.
The incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday Morning, September 7, 2022.
The accident happened precisely between two communities, Dominibo and Adukrom.
According to the report on Oyerepa FM, the Sprinter bus with registration number AS-9847 which was loaded from Wiawso and heading towards Kumasi collided with the Taxi cab with registration number GS- 8483 that was also heading towards Diaso.
The report says the two vehicles had all overtaken other vehicles hence the head-on collision.
Several people got injured but four others, thus 3 men and a woman sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Bibiani Government Hospital for care.
The woman according to the reports however passed away due to the degree of her injury.
Other victims are subsequently responding to treatment.
