The Headmaster of Bibiani Anglican School in the Bibiani Municipal in the Western North Region of Ghana, Ven. Charles Nyame Arthur has appealed to the government, educational stakeholders, and corporate organizations to come to the aid of the school.
The school about a year ago was razed by fire forcing the school to run a shift system due to overcrowding.
He indicated that the devastating situation in the school has led them to join some of the primary school classrooms and making teaching and learning very cumbersome.
“Since the school faced these unforeseen challenges, the academic experience has been very difficult since many buildings including the headmaster’s office, teachers’ staff office and JHS Classrooms were burnt, last year. Whenever it rains students don’t come to school because we can not keep them.”
He underscored the urgent need for classrooms to accommodate Junior High School (JHS) students to ensure quality education.
He, therefore, called on the Member of Parliament of their area, Lawyer Alfred Obeng-Boateng, Municipal Chief Executive, Paul Andoh and other benevolent organizations to come to their aid to reconstruct their school building.
