Sefadzi Abena Amesu, also known as S3fa, a popular Ghanaian artist, recently shared the reason behind her rendition of the legendary Freddy Meiway’s ‘Zoblazo’.
The talented ‘Vibration’ singer explained that she wanted to make ‘Zoblazo’ more appealing to the current generation by infusing it with elements of Afrobeats and Amapiano.
During an interview, S3fa expressed, “Zoblazo is a song that I grew up listening to and it holds a special place in my heart because I’ve always been someone who loves to dance to music.”
“Since I loved that song I just wanted to add a little bit of a twist to it and not take anything away from the song because the song is already perfect.
“But we’re making it more relatable to our generation with a little bit of Afrobeats, and Amapiano so it’s just a creative idea that came to mind,” she added on Property FM in Cape Coast.
“Legendary Freddy Meiway agreed to it because he loved the song after listening to it even before doing his verse on the vibration song”.
