Mr Odeneho Kwaku Appiah affectionately called Coka has raised his voice over the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) internal conflicts ahead of its presidential primaries.
The NPP is on the verge of electing its flagbearer to lead the party in 2024 Ghana’s general polls.
Vice President Bawumia, Alan Kyerematen, Kenedy Agyapong, Joe Ghartey, Afriyie Akoto and Kwabena Agyapong have all made it clear to contest for the position.
This has brought divisions in the party since its executives and members have their preferred candidates.
In relation to the divisions and party conflicts, Coka, the former Afigya Kwabere South NPP Chairman has said, he feels sorry for the party due to the various dirty utterance coming from supporters of various factions.
According to him, tussles in the NPP can lead to major problems if the current ‘fire’ that has begun is not extinguished.
“When l listen to the way some NPP members are talking nowadays, l feel sorry for our party.” Coka stated in a recent Facebook post.
He said, in order to break the 8, aspiring presidential candidates, have only Akufo-Addo’s legacy to campaign on, so all party folks must refrain from dirtying NPP in public.
“One thing that we should all know is that we are going to win the election 2024 with President Akufo-Addo’s legacy and because of that we need to protect it.”

When l listen to the way some NPP members are talking nowadays, l feel sorry for our party.
One thing that we should all know is that we are going to win election 2024 with President Akuffo Addo’s legacy and because of that we need to protect it.
Tell me who among the presidential aspirants can stand on his own legacy to lead NPP to retain power in 2024. It will surprise you that when you leave some of them to be on their own, they will have nothing to show or tell Ghanaians. Can you campaign without talking about one district one factory, digitalization, free SHS, One District One Warehouse, One Village One Dam, and Planting for Food and Jobs?
Let us discuss our problems and issues behind close doors because our opponents are watching us.
Dear NPP delegates, any presidential aspirant or his agent whose body language, behavior, character and utterances are against the president and his policies cannot lead the party to break the 8.
Let us be careful because when you bring the president down, it is the party that suffers. Do you remember Hon Baba Jamal of NDC? “When you see a lizard, say it is crocodile.” A word to a wise is enough. Coka, l care .
