Legendary Ghanaian Hiplife musician well known as Obrafour, the Rap Executioner, has stated that losing his mother has shifted his faith in God.
During an interview witth Accra-based Asaase Radio interview, Obrafour spoke about his mother’s death and how difficult it was for him. He stated that he could not fathom why God will take his mother who is dear to him away from him.
He said, “when I lost my mum, I lost my faith and I could not comprehend why God would take her from me and so I ran away from home….It was a tough time for me”.
Speaking about his music career, Obrafour said that he developed love for music and worked towards it to make sure it excels in his career. “I only resorted to music and fell in love with it after I lost my mum; one finds their destiny on the path they choose to avoid”, he said.
Speaking on what he wanted to be while growing up as a child, Obrafour told the host that he had always desired to be a lawyer growing up as a child. He said his grandfather was a lawyer and always wanted to be like him but that did not materialize as he fell in love with music.
“I never thought that music would become something I would do and become known for; Growing up, I wanted to become a lawyer like my grandfather”, he said
