Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has hailed the 2025 Ghana-European Union Partnership Dialogue as a major success, highlighting its tangible outcomes and the bright prospects it holds for future cooperation.
In a post on his official Facebook page, Ablakwa commended the high-level engagement held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, noting that it had strengthened strategic partnerships and made a meaningful contribution to advancing Ghana’s national development objectives.
“The 2025 Ghana-European Union Partnership Dialogue held at Ghana’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has produced great outcomes with an even better future to anticipate,” he stated.
Ablakwa also expressed appreciation to former President John Dramani Mahama for his involvement in the event.
“We are grateful to President Mahama for his historic participation in the annual dialogue where he outlined his vision, set the tone, and sought the relevant alignments with Ghana’s RESET agenda,” he noted.
He extended commendation to the various government officials and institutional leaders who played key roles in the discussions.
“I commend all partner ministers and heads of institutions for their remarkable dedication,” Ablakwa said.

Looking ahead, Ablakwa assured Ghanaians that the ministry would ensure the full realisation of the projects and policies agreed upon during the dialogue.
“My ministry will vigorously carry out the needed follow-ups and coordination to guarantee excellent execution of the many transformative projects agreed to and ensure a legacy of meaningful impact to all Ghanaians,” he affirmed.
The Ghana-EU Partnership Dialogue is held annually to foster cooperation in trade, development, governance, and security.
