Collins Owusu Amankwaah, a prominent member of Alan Kyerematen’s campaign team, firmly asserts that any endeavors to manipulate the forthcoming NPP presidential primaries will be vehemently opposed.
Amankwaah has expressed deep concern regarding the possibility of unfair practices and rigging attempts orchestrated by certain factions within the party.
During an interview with Sometymer on the Oyerepa Breakfast Show on July 27, 2023, the former lawmaker disclosed that his team is well-informed about the current attempts to manipulate delegate records, specifically in the Ashanti Region.
He confidently stated that supporters of Alan Kyerematen will not remain passive if any constituency is found attempting to remove the names of delegates from the NPP roster.
“We’ll not permit voting to take place in any constituency that’s planning to remove the names of some delegates from the NPP album. We’ll never sit aloof and watch one person take the law into his own hands to cheat us. It will never happen.” The former MP declared
He further assured that Alan’s camp is highly vigilant and fully prepared to confront any individuals involved in rigging attempts head-on.
He strongly advised individuals contemplating modifying the album to completely abandon such intentions, as they would inevitably encounter severe repercussions from the unwavering supporters of Alan Kyerematen.
