The Editor of the Informer Newspaper and a member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr Andy Kankam has declared that Johnson Asiedu Nketia will loose the Chairmanship position in their upcoming elections on Saturday.
His remarks is in relation to what is believed to be a recording of a leaked audio where Asiedu Nketia alleged that the NDC’s National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, was the architect of the party’s inability to effectively collate its results making it difficult to defend their allegations in court.
According to the Editor, Mr Johnson Asiedu has undermined every NDC Chairman he has worked with including the late Dr. Kwabena Adjei, Kofi Portuphy, and Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel on Oyerepa Breakfast Morning Show , Mr Kankam said that behaviour of Asiedu Nketia clearly shows he has no respect for the party’s constitution and therefore must be voted against.
“.. Asiedu Nketia has no respect for the party’s constitution so you have no business to become the Chairman of the party”..he stated.
“He will loose the elections on Saturday”, Kankam added.
Meanwhile, he also revealed that Asiedu Nketia has no better ideas to offer the party and now and reiterated that ,come what may Mr Asiedu Nketia will definitely loose the chairmanship seat to Mr Ofosu Ampofo.
“We will finally flash out the “mosquito” with Saso insecticide spray once and for all now”, he declared.
