A lady, Esther Akua Ahurama from Wasa Dunkwaw in the Western Region has recounted how her late grandfather’s ghost revealed how her husband slept with her younger sister.
Speaking on Oyerepa Afutuo, Monday, May 30, 2022, Esther Akua Ahurama narrated that, she lived with her husband Eric Kofi Asare, a cocoa farmer at Wasa Dunkwaw. She had a challenge with childbearing so she brought her younger sister, Maame Yaa to live with them.
One day she travelled and when she returned, the husband had slept with her younger sister.
According to Akua Esther, she saw the revelation in a dream after her late grandfather’s ghost had revealed to her, the abomination.
“I had a challenge giving birth so I brought my younger sister Maame Yaa to stay with us. I travelled and when I came back, my husband had slept with my younger sister.
I saw it in a dream and I began to fall sick. I went for several prayers yet, the disease could not be healed.
One night in a dream my late grandfather Kwame Ahuruw’s ghost told me Akua Ahurama wake up, your husband has slept with my younger sister. So I woke up and said ask myself what kind of dream is this?
I was afraid to lose my marriage so I decided to see the dream clear before I could ask my husband about it, but my late Grandfather prompted me in 2 other dreams about the issue.
In the last dream with a sword in my grandfather’s hand, he threatened to kill me if did not ask my husband about the abomination. The ghost said it will kill me if I refuse to do something about it.
The ghost directed me to bring out an egg and point a knife at it in front of MaameYaa, she will tell the truth.
I did as I’ve been directed by the ghost and my sister admitted to sleeping with my husband.
Akua Esther disclosed further that, she gathered the courage and enquired from the husband if indeed he has slept with Maame Yaa.
However, Asare didn’t deny sleeping with Maame Yaa.
“I asked my husband and he accepted that he has slept with my 12-year-old sister.” Akua Ahurama sadly recounted.
