A young man believed to be in his late 20s has committed suicide by hanging himself inside a cocoa farm at Wassa Aboam in the Wassa Amenfi Central District of the Western Region.
The incident happened yesterday around 5 PM.
According to the report by Oyerepa FM reporter, Agyemfra Bright Kofi, the young man is unknown in the community.
The Unit Committee chairman and Assembly member of the area reported the case to the Wassa Amenfi Central Police Station around 6 PM yesterday, September 8 2022.
The Police Commander, ASP Kofi Addae however organized his men together with the Unit Committee chairman and the Assembly member to go to the crime scene around 10 Am today.
The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the Asankragua morgue for investigation.
