Three men, suspicious of being armed robbers, have been burnt to death at Moseaso in the Wassa Amenfi West district of the Western Region.
The case occurred on Saturday, April 15, 2023, after the suspected robbers were unsuccessful in their supposed robbery attempt.
According to eyewitness Bright Agyemfra, the three reportedly tried to rob miners in the area but were fruitless and apprehended by some residents.
The enraged crowd set them on fire. They were four, but three of them had been burned beyond recognition.
The remaining one is in police custody, assisting them in their investigation.
Their mutilated remains were taken to the Wassa Amenfi Government Hospital by the police for autopsy and preservation.
