Popular actress Vivian Jill Lawrence is one of the most celebrated personalities in Ghana.
The actress has gained a lot of fame in the film industry ever since she came into the limelight.
However, one may wonder how the famous Kumawood actress ventured into movie acting.
According to her, movie director Daniel Adejele introduced her to acting.
Speaking in an exclusive on Oyerepa TV show, ‘Tie Bi’ Vivia Jill disclosed that she was living in South Africa as a businesswoman.
She one day visited the country and ended up at a particular place where she met movie director, Daniel Adejele.
Vivian Jill stated on the show that,
“I came on a business trip in Ghana. One day I found myself at a place where I met Dani ….I had a call that I should park my car at the right place. So I didn’t hang up on the phone but moved the car in reverse, parked it with ease because I started driving at age 14. For all this while, Dani and his friends were seated and watching. Dani then approached me. So through our conversation he said, will feature me in an upcoming movie. He took my contact and we all dispersed. I went back to South Africa but one day my Mom called and said a guy wants to feature me in a movie. My Mom and I were not interested but Dani was persistent, ‘I think he saw that thing in me’. I, therefore, accepted after my Mom and I had agreed. So we shot that movie. Later, Jackson K Bentum and Pat Thomas called and featured me in their movies, the rest is history.”
