Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang resumed her official duties at the Presidency on Monday, May 26, 2025, following a period of medical recovery.
She returned to Ghana on May 22 after receiving medical treatment in London, United Kingdom.
Her first official engagement upon her return was attending a general meeting of political appointees at the Presidency. She later held a separate session with staff from her office to reconnect and outline the weeks ahead.
The Vice President was warmly welcomed by Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, who conveyed the team’s happiness at her recovery and return to work.
Expressing her appreciation, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang thanked colleagues and Ghanaians for their support during her time away, noting that the outpouring of prayers and well wishes had been a source of strength throughout her medical journey.
