Popular Ghanaian Gospel musician, Piesie Esther has expressed displeasure for not getting nominations in the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA 2022).
According to her, VGMA has treated her fairly because thought her song ‘Wobedi Adansie’ should have been nominated for the impending awards.
In an interview on Joy Prime, Piesie said “I want to say, the Ghana Music Awards has not dealt with me rightfully, I want to pour the pains in my heart here so someone can relay it to them because it’s unfair that my song ‘Wobedi Adansie’ was not nominated.”
She did everything to get her song nominated but to no avail, because none of the categories released had her name in it.
Despite not getting a nomination for this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Piesie still sees a light at the tunnel.
Piesie believes there are greater opportunities going forward so there is the need to concentrate on her music career.
