Aggrieved ‘Wee Smokers’ in Winneba in the Central Region of Ghana say they will demonstrate over the upsurge in the price of the substance that gives them joy.
Ato Kwamena who spoke on Kumasi-based Sompa FM in an interview said they are shocked that a roll of marijuana (wee) that was sold for Ghc1.50p has now been increased to Ghc 5.
According to him, their suppliers are blaming the rise in the price of the substance on the Russia, Ukraine war and the exchange rate which has become a worry in recent times.
Ato Kwamena said, men who used to perform excellently in bed have had to suffer because they cannot purchase the substance that revitalizes them and give them the energy they need to sleep with their women.
“Our women are leaving us. Prior to this period, the wee was giving us energy but now it’s too expensive so we cannot purchase it. It’s a worry. How can you tell me you’ve increased the price of wee because of the dollar? How does the dollar affect something produced here?”
To the Wee Smokers in Winneba in the Central Region, If nothing is done about the price, they will be left with no choice but to demonstrate from Winneba to Makessim whiles naked.
