The Kasoa Ofaakor District Police Command in the Central Region has arrested two suspected landguards for allegedly stabbing two individuals without provocation.
The suspects, identified as Richard Kwevi, also known as “Agenda,” and Samuel Okyere, alias “Kwadie Dede Aquard,” are currently in police custody.
Meanwhile, the victims, who sustained critical injuries, are receiving treatment at the Kasoa Polyclinic.
Narrating the incident to Adom News, Ntiamoah Ahenkorah, Chairman of the Landlords Association and a friend of one of the victims, explained that the landguards had confronted them and demanded they follow them to One Nai Atopi’s Palace.
When they refused, an altercation ensued, during which one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a jackknife and stabbed one of the victims before physically assaulting them.
However, Nai Atopi has distanced himself from the incident, denying any knowledge of the suspects or any affiliation with them.
The police are currently investigating the matter.
