Two people have died after a Hyundai H100 bus collided with a Ford tractor on the Kpetoe-Sarakope stretch of the Accra-Aflao Highway.

The crash occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2026, when the two vehicles, which were travelling from Kpetoe towards Aflao, collided.

The Hyundai H100 was carrying 12 passengers, while two people were on board the Ford tractor, bringing the total number of occupants involved in the accident to 14.

Personnel from the Kpetoe Fire Station responded to the scene and rescued all 14 occupants before handing them over to the National Ambulance Service and the Ghana Police Service.

The injured victims were subsequently transported to the Ho Teaching Hospital for medical attention.

However, a male and a female victim were later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Ghana National Fire Service has renewed its call on motorists to exercise caution on the roads, avoid dangerous overtaking and comply with road safety regulations to help reduce road crashes and fatalities.
