Two young men have been mercilessly beating at Bantama in the Kumasi Metropolis of the Ashanti Region for possessing Indian hemp.
The two men went to Kumasi-Obuasi Station at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Roundabout (Gee-Roundabout) in order to send parcel via a driver to their colleague in Obuasi.
But the Driver after taking the parcel felt a strange smell from the package; he then hinted his colleague drivers and mates at the scene to stop the guys from living the station till he unwrapped the package.
To their surprises, it was Wee, packaged in a form of toffee, over thousand pieces.
Subsequently, The people around beat them (Suspects) to pulp and wanted to kill them but the Assembly member for the area, Kwabena Boateng came to their recued.
