Dr. Nsiah Asare, the Presidential Advisor on Health, has unveiled an innovative plan to deploy trained nurses to private hospitals once Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia takes office as President of Ghana.
According to him, posting trained nurses to private hospitals, the initiative seeks to address the country’s nurse employment rate and improve healthcare delivery.
In an interview with Kwesi Parker Wilson on Oyerepa Breakfast Time, Dr. Asare explained that this strategic initiative is designed to enhance public-private partnerships and elevate the healthcare sector in the nation.
