A horrific accident occurred at the Oyerepa Building forecourt, resulting in severe injuries to a motor rider. According to eyewitnesses, a police officer attempted to stop the motor rider, but he failed to comply, leading to a catastrophic chain of events.
The motor rider proceeded to the roundabout near Adum Prison, where he collided with a Matiz car. The impact caused the motor rider to fall under the vehicle, and he was dragged approximately 20 meters on the road.
In a disturbing turn of events, the police officer involved in the incident fled the scene and is currently unaccounted for. In contrast, the driver of the Matiz car stopped and rushed the injured motor rider to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital’s emergency unit, where he is receiving treatment for his critical injuries.
