Ghanaian actor and musician Razak Amissah, popularly known as Zack GH, has sparked conversation after sharing his personal beliefs and experiences regarding spirituality and alleged spiritual attacks within the entertainment industry.

Speaking in an interview with Nana Ama Ntsiful on Oyerepa OBT Entertainment, Zack GH reflected on what he describes as the reality of spiritual forces, insisting that belief in prayer and spiritual protection is essential for survival in life and in the creative industry.

According to him, spiritual matters are not limited to belief systems alone but are experiences he considers real and widespread. He further alleged that he has personally witnessed what he believes to be a spiritual attack, although it did not affect him directly but rather his sister.

“It is everywhere. You have to believe spirituality. As a Muslim, we believe in everything. That is why we don’t stop praying and fasting. I always say the world is dark, so always use prayer as your light. It has happened before, but it didn’t get to me directly. It affected my sister rather. I was with her. The thing was meant for me but got to my sister, according to my father while he was praying,” he recounted.

He explained that his father, whom he described as a mallam and deeply prayerful, played a key role in identifying what he believed to be the spiritual direction of the attack. Zack GH further claimed that during prayers with a pastor who had previously supported him spiritually, unusual objects were allegedly removed from his sister’s body, something he says strengthened his belief in spiritual realities.

“My father doesn’t joke with prayer about me. My father is a mallam. He told me that it had been directed to my sister. Yes, it’s true. When we called the then pastor who used to pray for me, he removed a lot of things I have never seen before. He removed needles and bones from my sister’s body while I was just sitting and watching as it was happening. It is even on my phone,” he revealed.

He added that experiences like this have shaped his strong belief in spirituality and the need for constant prayer and fasting, especially in environments he considers spiritually sensitive.

“So, with spirituality, I believe it is really there. So once you are a human, believe it,” he concluded.

Zack GH’s comments have since triggered discussions among fans and industry watchers about spirituality in Ghana’s entertainment space, particularly within Kumawood, where such beliefs are often referenced in personal testimonies and public conversations. The interview continues to generate debate on the intersection of faith, fear, and the realities of show business in Ghana.
