A 27-year-old Kwame Boat is in police custody for allegedly murdering his 60-year-old biological mother, name given as Abrewa Nni Nkran, in cold blood at Woromso in the Asutifi South District of the Ahafo Region.
The suspect is believed to be mentally unstable.

The Assemblyman for Woromso Electoral Area Ernest Karim, who led the youth to arrest the suspect, explained to Oyerepa News reporter, Sulley Dramani, that the suspected murderer started behaving strangely about a year ago which caused several troubles for the family.
The body of Abrewa Nni Nkran has been deposited at the Hwidiem St. Elizabeth hospital mortuary while the police have taken Kwame Boat Hwidiem police station for investigation.
