Netizens were launched on a discussion platform about how a teenager was nabbed after impregnating 10 ladies in his community.
The teenager and her 29-year-old assistant, known as Chigozia Ogbonna, and two other women identified as Favor Bright and Peace Alikoi were reported to have been running a baby factory.
Following the arrest of these perpetrators, Rivers Police Relations Officer Beauty Iringe Koko said the four suspects worked in the Obio/Akpor community and the 10 ladies who were held captive by the suspects were rescued by the officials.
She also said further investigations revealed that one of the victim’s babies had been handed over to the leader of the organization and paid her N500,000 and that some of the babies in the factory home had been sold.
The victim admitted they were tricked into illegally selling their babies because of the financial crises they went through.
