Symphonials Choir set to light up Promise Choral Festival in Kumasi

The second edition of the Promise Choral Festival is scheduled for Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Amakom SDA Church Auditorium in Kumasi.

Organisers say the event will feature the popular Accra-based choral group, Symphonials Choir, as one of the major highlights of the programme. The group, known for its powerful performances and soul-winning ministry through music, is expected to deliver an outstanding presentation that will take the festival beyond the success of its maiden edition.

The Promise Choral Festival aims to bring together choral music lovers, church groups and the general public for an evening of inspiring sacred and contemporary choral music. Organisers have assured patrons that this year’s programme has been carefully planned to provide a richer and more engaging experience than the first edition.

Symphonials Choir, formed in 2005 by students of Valley View University, has grown into one of Ghana’s most respected choral ensembles. With multiple albums, hundreds of performances across the country and international recognition, including gold awards at the African Choral and Gospel Championships in Rwanda, the group continues to inspire audiences through quality music and ministry.

Music enthusiasts in Kumasi and surrounding communities are encouraged to attend what promises to be a memorable evening of praise, harmony and spiritual upliftment at the Amakom SDA Church Auditorium on August 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.
