Three young boys suspected to be “Sakawa” boys are said to have exhumed a dead body last night at Ejura Sekyere Dumasi District of Ashanti Region.
The incident happened precisely at Moserater cemetery in Mempasem Electoral Area of Ejura.
Eye witness Isidini Ibrahim who spoke to the media stated that he was walking around the cemetery when he heard a strange sound accompanied by a torchlight. So he got very closer but as soon as the diggers saw him, they took to their heels.
” I live close to the place. So I was making rounds around the cemetery. I heard a strange sound accompanied by torchlight. I moved closer and saw three boys digging a grave. But immediately they saw me, they ran away. I chased them but couldn’t apprehend them”, he added.
He added that the suspected money ritualists (Sakawa boys) couldn’t pick up the body despite succeeding in exhuming the corpse.
