The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Suame, Frank Owusu Ansah, has pledged to construct a health centre for the Breman Community as part of efforts to improve healthcare access in the Suame Municipality.
The MCE made this commitment during a community engagement meeting with the Chief and elders (Nananom) of Breman, where he outlined his development priorities and sought support for key initiatives aimed at transforming the area.
“I’m pleading with the Bremanhene to give me a parcel of land to build a health centre in Breman,” Hon. Owusu Ansah stated. “Building a hospital or health centre here is my biggest priority.”
As a show of goodwill and support for local development, the MCE donated 40 bags of cement to the Bremanhene to assist in the completion of the Breman Palace, a longstanding project aimed at strengthening traditional leadership infrastructure in the community.
The Chief of Breman (Bremanhene) Baffuor Kotei Koteng Saaman II, expressed profound appreciation for the MCE’s visit and kind gesture, describing it as unprecedented.
“You are the only MCE who has visited me since I was enthroned as Bremanhene,” the Chief noted.
He pledged his unwavering support for the MCE’s development agenda and promised to provide the necessary land for the proposed health facility.
“If you need my help in any area, don’t hesitate to seek it. I’ll do all I can to help secure the land for this health centre,” he assured.
During his address, Owusu Ansah also touched on several challenges facing the municipality, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, road infrastructure, and security.
“There are a lot of challenges in this municipality,” he admitted.
“But I’m determined to bring proper development to Suame. I’ll also ensure that the crime rate is brought down significantly.”

The MCE emphasised his commitment to fostering collaboration with traditional authorities, community members, and other stakeholders to accelerate socio-economic development in the municipality.
