Strong Union will drive development – Gomoa Central MP urges car Dealers to unite
The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A-Plus, has urged all vehicle dealers to collaborate and treat their union as a strong tool for pursuing shared goals and driving national development.
Speaking at the Vehicle and Assets Dealers Union of Ghana (VADUG) meeting, Hon. A-Plus cautioned members to put aside all internal issues and focus on how the union can move forward.
He cited Parliament as an example, saying members of Parliament unite despite their differences when dealing with issues confronting the nation.
“Parliament is united upon all the issues confronting the members. We put all aside and think about our country Ghana. So therefore, the vehicle dealers must be united,” he said.
The MP expressed confidence in President John Mahama, describing him as “a nice person who understands.”
He added that if vehicle dealers organize themselves properly, the government will support them to grow their businesses.
“Government has money to help agriculture, so why not support them too to grow their business?” he asked.
Gomoa Central lawmaker urged VADUG members to put their grievances aside and come together under one umbrella to strengthen the union and advance the interests of vehicle dealers across the country.
