Two individuals are in critical condition after a speeding Sprinter bus collided with a commercial motorbike (okada) at Gallelia Official Town in the Ga South Municipality.
The victims, the okada rider and a pillion passenger, were rushed to the Ngleshie Amamfrom Polyclinic for emergency treatment.
Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred when the okada attempted to make a U-turn at Official Town, only to be struck by the Sprinter bus, which was travelling at high speed from Kasoa toward Accra. The bus, bearing registration number AW 7559-13, was reportedly carrying a full load of passengers at the time.
Following the crash, the Sprinter driver reported himself to the Ngleshie Amamfrom Police Station, where investigations into the incident are ongoing.
