President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo emphasized the government’s strategic planning to ensure the safety and security of Ghana.
He highlighted that Ghana has remained unaffected by the extremism plaguing neighboring countries due to meticulous planning and execution.
During his State of the Nation address on Tuesday, February 27, President Akufo-Addo underscored the government’s commitment to equipping the armed forces and security agencies while prioritizing their welfare.
He confidently stated, “Our nation is safe and secure.”
Furthermore, President Akufo-Addo noted that the police force has been significantly enhanced with better equipment than ever before.
He warned against complacency, citing the rise of extremism in other parts of West Africa, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding Ghana’s territorial integrity.
